
Dr. Tomcik earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee and completed a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Before entering private practice, he served as Chief Psychologist and Deputy Chief of Behavioral Health at the VA in Columbus, Ohio, where he led interdisciplinary teams and championed evidence-based psychotherapy initiatives system-wide.
He currently practices in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on couple and family therapy, overcontrolled personality styles, and treatment-resistant conditions through Radically Open Connections, LLC.
